It was a beautiful cool summer day yesterday when we said goodbye to our beautiful soul, Mabel. She collapsed in the morning and with her liver shot and the cancer spread to her lungs, she was having trouble breathing and she had stopped eating. She had a lovely day on a friend's farm the day before and she was with friends at the end, and went peacefully.
She was only with us for a short while, but she stole our hearts and we will love her always.

Myrtle sees that she's gone, but is coping very well. We're all off to the park in a few minutes and that will lift her spirits.
