Libby picked out a lab/greyhound mix 6 month old pup for me named Tina. I renamed her Sandy and she is the best dog a person could ever wish for. We picked her up just before Christmas. It took a little time for her to adjust because she had been bounced around a bit before we got her, but now she is queen of the household. She is also a graduate of the cell dog program.

I have a bad back and Sandy comes to me when I ask her for help. I put my arms around her neck and she helps me up. How’s that for a great dog?? She is extremely loving, but especially to kids. Being part greyhound, she loves to run. We have play dates for her with my sisters dog Sally. We love her to pieces and I thank Libby for her every day. I’ve attached some photos of our girl, I’m sure you’ll see just how special she is…

Update from November 18th...
Sandy is a yellow lab/greyhound mix who loves to run and play. I am also teaching her to be my service mobility dog as I have problems associated with my disintegrating spine which causes me pain and restriction of movement at times. She is eager to please and is a very important part of our family. When my boyfriend, Ron, came home after major surgery, it was Sandy who stayed by his side watching out for him.
