Our sweet foster Skye was adopted this morning to a wonderful previous adopter of Emmitt. Her Beagle personality continued to shine more and more everyday. And yes, although she was a lab dog and The previous owner heard her bark 1 time, she does have her barker! She finally can relax and be comfortable and do what dogs do best at 11. Have a wonderful life little Skye, my Asher will miss you most!

Now Skye is believed to be a previous lab dog. When we got her 3 years ago, she was suffering extreme anxiety and constantly peed all over the house. Over the course of these 3 years she has come so far and now has fewer accidents (but they do happen often). She has started indicating when she needs to go out though which is good. Diapers work well but at the end of the day, she needs someone to be attentive to her needs and take her out frequently. She can not be crated! She is terrified of the crate and that would make sense if she came from a lab.
She sleeps a lot of but still has lots of energy for the kids. She does not bark or howl surprisingly. I have heard her bark only 3 times and one was while trying to race the mower.
