Today, when I arrived home from work Preston was very excited to see me and wanted to wrestle, which is a great sign that he is beginning to feel safe and feel better. Tonight during our walk he had a lot more energy, wanted to run, and would whine with desire every time he saw or heard a dog. I really hope this doesn’t mean I need to get a dog as a companion for him! Once he is well we will visit doggy friends and visit the dog park. In the meantime, here is a picture of him in his favorite position, whether it’s in my lap, on the bed, or on the couch. I think he’s pretty comfortable, wouldn’t you say?
